A.K Mathew was a renaissance man of many interests. He graduated from Manipal Engineering College and through the 1960's and 1970's worked for the Government of India. He left India as an Executive Engineer and served in Managerial and Executive capacities abroad before returning home to build the farm in 1985
Land was acquired over a couple of years and levelled to support planned farming activity
Multiple bore wells were drilled to support the water needs of the farm
Pumping stations were built to support pumping of water to distribution stations
7000 Teak Trees were planted and supported through initial growth
84 Mango Trees, 1000 Cashew Trees and 2000 Coconut Trees were built to support generating recurring revenue for the farm
A brick wall was built surrounding the entire property.
